From June 15 to June 18, 2022, one of the largest and most important business events took place in St. Petersburg - the XXV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The forum has been held annually since 1997. During this time, it has become a global platform for discussing topical economic issues and sharing best practices.
The regional delegation was attended by Acting Head of the Republic of Mari El Yuri Zaitsev, senator from the region Konstantin Kosachev, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Mari El Alexander Salnikov, Minister of Industry, Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Mari El Stanislav Krylov and other officials.
At the Forum sites, agreements were signed between the Government of our republic and the Cabinet of Ministers of Chuvashia on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation, & nbsp; with the Government of the Republic of Kalmykia on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and other fields, & nbsp; cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Mari El and National Payment Card System JSC, with the Governor of the Samara Region signed an action plan for 2022-2024 to implement the Agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation.
An agreement on mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of tourism and the development of the Great Volga Route was signed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko, Head of the Federal Agency for Tourism Zarina Doguzova, Acting Head of Mari El Yuri Zaitsev, Governor of the Samara Region Dmitry Azarov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region Aleksey Russkikh, Head of the Chuvash Republic Oleg Nikolaev. The agreement is aimed at developing tourism, opening new interregional routes, implementing attractive projects for tourists in the republic, creating and promoting a high-quality and competitive tourism product.
An agreement was also signed with Sergey Sukhanov, Director General of the Tourism.RF corporation. The document contributes to the implementation of tourism projects of the republic - "Pearl of the Volga Region" in the Yurinsky district, "Kugeze Mlande" in the Zvenigovsky district, "Ethnotourism Center on the Volga" in the city of Kozmodemyansk. In addition to these projects, other proposals for tourists will be developed.
The regional team held working meetings with the Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin, the head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service Maxim Shaskolsky, representatives of the international oil transportation company Caspian Pipeline Consortium, representatives of PJSC Rosseti, Gazprom Mezhregiongaz, Gazprom gasification”, & nbsp; “T Plus”, the Mari community, as well as other issues of the economic development of the republic were discussed.
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is the most important platform for Russian regions to solve the problems of sustainable development in contact with federal structures and international partners.
